The Amazon Supplier Sustainability Summit 2025 brings together suppliers, industry partners, and sustainability leaders to explore the intersection of innovation, collaboration, and responsibility in procurement.
Recommended attendees include executive leaders and professionals responsible for environment, community impact, social responsibility, and supplier engagement with disadvantaged-owned businesses.
A livestream will also be available for those outside of reasonable travel distance.
Terri-Ann Brown is the Senior Director of Miami Tech Works, a workforce intermediary funded with $16 million through the Economic Development Administration with the goal of strengthening talent pipelines and ensuring business success.
She has also led initiatives to support startups and small businesses with mentorship, commercialization, and access to funding. Her current role includes serving as one of the leaders of the Risk and Resilience Tech Hub – South Florida’s emerging ecosystem focused on advanced materials to strengthen our infrastructure.
Antoine C. McNeal is a procurement, supply chain and innovation leader at Amazon. Mr. McNeal is Head of Global Health & Safety Procurement for global fulfillment and operations. In this role he serves as Amazon’s global leader for procurement and continuity of supply for health and safety supplies and services. He has over 22 years of experience and is recognized as a supply chain and procurement change agent and solutions architect. Prior to Amazon he was recognized in the Department of Defense (DoD) as a senior procurement director and champion of supply strategy, supply chain management, contract lifecycle management, weapon systems product development (i.e. F-35, F-22, etc), procurement information technology, enterprise architecture and automation to achieve next-level operational performance. He served as the Deputy Director of the Defense Contract Management Agency’s (DCMA) National Capital Region Contract Management Office.
In May 2024, John Carter transitioned to lead the Global Corporate Procurement team within Amazon. Prior to that as the Director of Finance Operations and Accounting Analysis, John managed the accounting, reporting and analysis work for global finance teams within Amazon. Since joining Amazon in 2016, he has worked closely with the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Controller and many other senior executives to ensure the proper level of controllership and financial reporting, while also driving improvements to the customer and employee experience. Originally from California, John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkley; a Master of Business Administration from San Jose State University; and a Master of Science in Accounting also from San Jose State University. John enjoys spending time with his wife (Kristin) along with his three adult children. He also enjoys skiing, traveling, riding motorcycles and rooting for the Seattle Sounders FC.
Rachel Schiftan is the Senior Managing Director of Sustainability Services within Investor Services at Cushman & Wakefield, where she leads holistic consulting and project management solutions across commercial real estate portfolios. She assists clients reduce environmental impact, enhance building performance, and meet ESG goals including services such as energy and carbon management, green building certifications, climate risk assessments, waste reduction strategies, and ESG reporting support.
Léyoh is a commercial leader working with organisations to prove their value based on their values. Currently VP of Sales at the Social Value Portal, Léyoh has experience in using technology to prioritise sustainable business, responsible sourcing and social value.
Leonard Spencer leads Amazon’s Global Procurement Sustainability (GPS) organization, where he advances purpose-led sourcing strategies that promote environmental stewardship, economic inclusion, and social impact across the company’s global supply chain. His team drives responsible procurement through four pillars: climate action, community impact, human rights, and inclusive supplier development.
Previously, Leonard held leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company and General Electric, where he focused on supplier development, sustainability, and finance. He holds degrees from Tuskegee University and the University of Alabama, and completed executive education at Columbia University. He lives in Orlando with his wife and is the proud father of two adult children.
A seasoned procurement executive with over 9 years at Amazon, he currently serves as Director of Procurement Operations, leading a team of 2,500+ professionals across US procurement operations and indirect supply chain management.
Since becoming Director in March 2023, he has driven significant improvements in operational excellence through strategic vendor management and innovative S&OP practices. His journey at Amazon includes leadership roles in Global Procurement Operations, Procurement PMO, and Regional Procurement Operations.
He holds an MBA in Strategy & Operations from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and a BS in Electronic Engineering from Northern Michigan University. Known for implementing strategic initiatives that align with Amazon’s customer-centric approach, he brings particular strength in large-scale team management, vendor relationships, and procurement transformation.
